Abstract Submission for CITC – 2019

The Colombo International Trauma Conference 2019 (CITC) is organized by the Accident and Orthopedic Service National Hospital of Sri Lanka, as its flagship knowledge dissemination and networking event for the year.The CITC will cater to researchers from around the world and will fulfill the need for a high quality international conference in medical education hosted in the South Asian region. The conference theme for this year is ‘Trauma care- Best for the most’ which expects to capture the most up to date knowledge and experiences prevailing among medical specialties. Thus, it is a unique opportunity for the researchers to showcase their novel creations in a internationally recognized platform.The submissions for CITC 2019 could therefore be fitting one of the tracks listed below. However, the conference may open for submissions in trauma care pertaining to any area, which may not directly be fitting the listed tracks.

  • Spinal Trauma and Rehabilitation
  • Neuro Trauma
  • Facial trauma
  • Chest Trauma
  • Pelvic Trauma (Crushed Pelvis)

Author Guidelines:

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • All abstracts must contain original work that has not been published or presented identically on previous occasions.
  • Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered before the Registration Deadline to ensure inclusion of the abstract in the publications and in order to be scheduled for presentation.
    • Abstracts must be limited to 300 words.

      • Keywords (5 max.)
      • Introduction/Background
      • Objective
      • Method
      • Results
      • Conclusion
  • ONLY abstracts submitted through the online system would be accepted.
  • Abstract should be uploaded only as word document (.docx/.doc) or alternatively as PDF (.pdf) file format.
  • Abstract closing date is extended to 20/06/2019
